PICOFY™ is an advanced picosecond laser platform designed to treat some of the most frustrating skin concerns with incredible precision and minimal downtime. Unlike older lasers that rely heavily on heat, PICOFY delivers ultra-short bursts of energy measured in picoseconds (trillionths of a second) to shatter pigment into tiny particles your body can naturally eliminate.
PICOFY breaks pigment apart quickly and efficiently.
✨ Less heat. More precision. Better skin rejuvenation.
PICOFY is designed to target pigment with less thermal injury than many traditional lasers, making it an excellent option for clients struggling with stubborn melasma.
PICOFY effectively breaks apart tattoo ink particles for faster fading and improved clearance.
PICOFY uses ultra-fast picosecond pulses to create a powerful photomechanical effect beneath the skin. Instead of overheating surrounding tissue, the laser energy precisely targets unwanted pigment while stimulating collagen production.
PICOFY doesn’t just treat the surface. It helps remodel the skin from within.
Older laser technology often relied heavily on heat, which could increase downtime and irritation.
PICOFY delivers:
It’s one of the most advanced laser platforms available for both pigmentation correction and overall skin revitalization.

Maricopa Wellness Center — Where your best skin begins.
PICOFY is an advanced picosecond laser that delivers ultra-short pulses of energy to target unwanted pigment and tattoo ink. Treatments can be customized for concerns such as melasma, sun damage, brown spots, uneven pigmentation and unwanted tattoos.
Yes, PICOFY may be used as part of a customized treatment plan for appropriate patients with melasma. Because melasma can be complex and prone to recurrence, we evaluate your skin, pigmentation pattern and potential triggers before recommending treatment.
At Maricopa Wellness Center, we can use Observ 520X advanced skin imaging to evaluate pigmentation and other skin concerns that may not be as apparent under normal lighting. Combined with a consultation, this helps us determine which treatment approach is most appropriate for your skin.
PICOFY can target unwanted tattoo pigment using ultra-short picosecond laser pulses that break ink particles into smaller fragments, allowing the body to gradually clear them. Multiple treatments are typically needed, and the number of sessions varies based on the tattoo.
Tattoo removal typically requires a series of treatments. The number varies depending on the tattoo's age, size, location, ink colors, ink density and how your body responds. We evaluate the tattoo during your consultation and discuss realistic expectations before beginning treatment.
Downtime varies depending on what is being treated and the settings used. Pigmentation treatments may cause temporary redness or darkening of treated pigment, while tattoo removal can cause redness, swelling or other temporary skin changes. We provide individualized aftercare instructions.
PICOFY is a picosecond laser that targets specific pigment and tattoo ink, while IPL uses broad-spectrum light to address concerns such as sun damage, brown spots and redness. The best option depends on your skin type and concern, and in some cases a treatment plan may incorporate both technologies.
PICOFY treatments can be customized for a wide range of skin types and tones. However, not every laser treatment is appropriate for every person or pigmentation concern. We evaluate your skin type, medical history and treatment goals before recommending treatment.
